How it works
Leveraged tokens
A leveraged token (LT) is an ERC-20 whose value tracks a perpetual position held on a dedicated Aster account. One LT equals a pro-rata share of that account's equity.
Lifecycle
- Minting an LT deposits USDT and increases the position.
- A keeper holds the position at its target leverage inside a tolerance band.
- The account's equity is published on-chain roughly every 90 seconds.
- Redeeming is served instantly from idle USDT; larger redemptions go through a queue.
Fees
| Fee | Rate |
|---|---|
| Streaming | 2%/year × leverage |
| Redemption | 0.3% × leverage |
Buying is paused when the published equity is older than 120 seconds. Selling always works.
